Ritual Rain has brought me on board to illustrate a new universe, the world of EchoPlex. In the upcoming posts, I'd like to share some of the progress, and the finished line work. This is an exciting period for me as I am working on multiple projects, each with its own style and visual storytelling genre. More sneak peeks to come.

I draw dead people! Or at least I will on August 29 at the Zombie Walk. I've seen works done by artist at the Theme Parks in San Diego, so this will be my attempt at extending myself creatively. In the next few weeks, I will create a few demos of the living dead. I hope that you might give me some feedback on how to make it better, or at the least, get a few laughs. If you want a chance to be zombified, send me a pic and I'll make you one of my models.
What a 4th of July weekend! I found so many places that actually wanted me to draw. This fun time activity is becoming a full time opportunity. I started with my friends at the local drive in, my new hangout spot for sketching. Everyone is in such a great spirit there. Makes for easy drawings. Plus I watched Terminator Genysis. Text me if you want to talk about movies. On the Fourth, I started at a local parade, doing my civic duty to share my skills. It was non-stop. Watching parades and cars, the festive atmosphere. I met some of my old students, and made some new friends. My favorite moment was when a couple asked me if I would draw them in trade for some of their barbeque. Um...YES! No card board side needed here. In the evening, I jumped over to the local professional ballpark, Raley Field. I love the game of baseball, so where better for me to set up my drawing shop. Again, busy but people came with a great attitude. Makes for the best drawings. Oh, and the firework show was amazing. So browse through my pics, download yourself or friends. Say hi to me at my next engagement. Bring food! |
