Beauty last forever. Some would say that drawing faces is difficult. Some would follow that with a statement for drawing those blessed to make it to their Golden Years to be the most challenging of all. It's a Princess Party for a Princess. When you are 3 years old, will you remember the jumper, the laughter from family and friends, or even the beautiful cake? Don't worry, I have the moment captured through caricature.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. Especially when I get a chance to capture the holiday through caricature. I was brought in as the alternative entertainment to a DJ, photo booth, or a carol chorus group. As the guests rolled in, I was busy the entire evening, even extending an hour past the scheduled time.
It helps to have drink tickets, I wish I could have taken more pictures of the Sardi's inspired wall. We had all the pictures taped along the bar walls. But the line was so long that I had to keep moving. The group shot was by request, just so you know. Thank you Andrea for making this night happen.
I do love school. When I was a kid I may not have said this, but as a parent, an educator, a involved community member, I will announce my joy for being part of the learning family. But my running joke is "I stopped being a teacher and became a caricature artist when I realized I don't like kids!"
