3D animation...is it for me?

I completed my first semester of 3d animation using MAYA.  I attended MiraCosta College. Of course my favorite is the animation, whcih surprisingly I didn't do much of.  Modeling seems to be the focus, and though I was excited to see a box turn into a dresser, I would much rather animate it. I enjoyed the bouncing ball.  This is just the beginning.
