Is It Okay To Really Enjoy Your Job?

I'm having an amazing time working as a caricature artist at Legoland. Lately, I've been a groove creatively. I wonder if it's the carnival like music that is ringing in my ears. (If you've been to a theme park lately you would know what I mean.)

It is such a privilege to work with some talented artist on this Lego team. I've learned so much about the art of the quick draw. I've started watching YouTube demonstrations of artists from other parks as well.

I hope that these pieces I'm sharing can help me and others gauge my improvement in the work. Please feel free to comment.

In the future I hope to try a variety of techniques that I'm seeing from others. I expect to improve the coloring, especially the content of the background and foreground. In future posts, I'll break down individual pieces. Now I have to go back outside and enjoy this amazing weather and terrific job.
