James 4:8

Reconsider a new perspective in your walk with The Lord. Someone very dear to me continually asks me, "How do you see the next scene in your movie (of life)?" I have been looking for a Biblical response. So this morning I pull out another book titled, Coming Home. Very appropriate considering my current life change and relocation to Southern California.

The first chapter, the opening verse. BAM! James 4:8. "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."

Now you might think I'm deep and will interpret this in relation to my life journey. Not this time.

I spends my hours at my drawing table alone. How cool would it be to invite God to draw next to me? "Jesus, you mind photoshopping this for me, I don't think I'm getting the color right?" There are many parables in the Word, but I have to have an attitude aligned with the living Bible. God and I are a terrific team. I am drawing my pictures, but He is enhancing the lines. Not tracing, but giving my work unsurpassed favor.

This is a deviation from the promise to answer the Love Dare, but it spoke to me.
