Nights at the Drive-Ins, Sacramento, CA 9.9-9.10

It's been just over a year since I started drawing live caricatures at the West Wind Drive-Ins in Sacramento.  This past weekend I had more than one group of families come by for updates.  They were genuinely excited to see me out under the stars, and happy to catch me up on current events.  I am in awe that they would have my artwork in an honored place in their homes. Gotta love my job.

I'm know that my style continues to grow.  These quick sketches go far to allowing me to experiment with line types, and color techniques.  I plan on attending the ISCA Convention in November, where I will draw with the best caricature artists from across the USA. Looking at their work, I know that I have much to learn. Thanks to all the customers/models.
