Oceanside High Pirates...Hail, Hail, Hail

God has opened a wonderful opportunity for me to contribute art to my almamater of Oceanside High School. First, I am blessed to have Melanie propose the idea over casual conversation. As alumnus she thought it would be a perfect way for me to give back and keep things within the Pirate family. Next thank you to Coach Barrett for just remembering who I am. I was sort of squirt in high school who just happened to play varsity baseball. Here I can post a shout out to my fellow RTP (Ride The Pine) members. Coach is open to the idea of mural in the school weight room.

I'm imagining caricatures of pirates lifting weights under the deck. Sort of The Pirates of the Caribbean meets Pumping Iron. The brown walls would make perfect planks. I foresee Pirates, in the offseason, getting their bodies ready for the next big sea adventure. I have a rough title, "Legends aren't given, Legends are made" .
